Vassilios Kimiskidis Vassilios – Professor
Vasilios K. Kimiskidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He obtained his MD and Ph D at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where he also completed his Neurology Residency. He performed his post-graduate studies in Epileptology and Clinical Neurophysiology as a fellow at the University of Oxford. He is currently Assistant Professor of Neurology & Clinical Neurophysiology and in charge of the Laboratory of Clinical Neurophysiology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests are in the fields of epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology (with particular emphasis on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and neuroimmunology. He has authored 60 manuscripts and has extensively lectured on these subject areas as an invited speaker in national and international events.
